Dr. Lakshmi Prathipati is a highly experienced primary care physician and internal medicine specialist with over 30 years of dedicated service to the San Diego community. She is a trusted San Diego doctor known for her compassionate approach.

After completing her medical education at Guntur Medical College in India, Dr. Prathipati pursued further training with residencies at both Interfaith Medical Center and the University of Southern California. This extensive training prepared her to offer a wide range of medical services.

Since establishing her practice in 1992, Dr. Prathipati has been committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care to her patients in San Diego and National City. Her special focus areas include preventive medicine and geriatric care, addressing the unique needs of older adults.

Dr. Kumara Prathipati is a board-certified internal medicine physician (American Board of Internal Medicine) who has been in practice since 1988. He provides primary care at both our San Diego and National City locations.

Dr. Kumara Prathipati completed his medical degree at Kurnool Medical College in India, followed by an internship at Government General Hospital in Kurnool and a residency at Coney Island Hospital. He completed a fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.

He is the founder of the practice and is now practicing again alongside Dr. Lakshmi Prathipati, offering comprehensive primary care to adult patients.
